Project Planner / Planning Engineer – Microsoft Data Centre Projects

Role overview

You’ll support project delivery teams with planning, scheduling and progress coordination across construction and commissioning activities, working closely with project managers, subcontractors and client-side stakeholders. The role requires planners who are comfortable managing live project schedules within complex, multi-disciplinary environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules across construction and commissioning phases
• Support planning activities across Microsoft data centre projects
• Track project progress and support schedule reporting
• Coordinate with construction, commissioning and subcontractor teams
• Support look-ahead planning and programme updates
• Identify schedule risks, delays and mitigation actions
• Assist with project controls and reporting activities
• Ensure alignment between construction and commissioning milestones

Background & experience

• Strong experience within data centre or mission-critical project environments
• Experience on Microsoft data centre projects strongly preferred
• Experience supporting:
  • Construction planning
  • Commissioning schedules
  • Project controls activities
• Experience with planning tools such as:
  • Primavera P6
  • MS Project
• Comfortable operating within fast-paced site delivery environments
• Strong coordination and stakeholder communication skills
