As Project Portfolio Manager, you are responsible for the management and monitoring of the project portfolio of key projects within the JURA Materials Group. You ensure that strategic initiatives are implemented on time, within budget, and in line with corporate objectives. You establish proven governance and project management standards, accompany the entire project lifecycle, and drive continuous improvements – for greater efficiency, transparency, and value creation:

• You are responsible for the management and monitoring of the strategic project portfolio of the JURA Materials Group throughout Switzerland.
• You easily develop and implement governance structures and efficient project management processes (including team organization, schedules, role distribution, and decision-making paths).
• You manage the definition and tracking of milestones and KPIs for success measurement; you are the central interface between project teams and management, including reporting.
• You enjoy leading selected key projects (e.g., integrations, CAPEX initiatives) and coordinating cross-functional, regional teams.
• You prepare regular status and performance reports for management and the parent company CRH.
• You place particular emphasis on the early identification of risks and deviations, as well as the implementation of appropriate countermeasures.
• You ensure the sustainable integration of project results into operational processes.
• You maintain close collaboration with regional teams, strategy, performance, and operational units, as well as relevant stakeholders at the group level.
• Your active hands-on support for the various project managers rounds off your tasks.

How you make your mark with us

• A completed degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field forms the basis of your expertise.
• We require a minimum of 5-10 years of professional experience in the building materials industry or related sectors.
• In-depth experience in project management or management consulting will help you.
• You can impress with proven successes in leading complex, cross-functional strategic projects with high visibility.
• Excellent German and English skills facilitate communication with national and international contacts; Austrian knowledge is an advantage.
• You possess strong strategic and conceptual skills, as well as high analytical competence.
• The ability to recognize cross-departmental interrelationships and translate them into concrete measures accompanies you.
• A confident demeanor and excellent communication skills in dealing with stakeholders at all levels – from operational teams to management – are necessary for your successful work.
