For our client, a leading engineering company based in Lucerne, we are looking for a Project and Process Manager.
This hybrid role balances technical project leadership with the strategic optimization of internal workflows. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between engineering excellence and process efficiency, ensuring that project management methodologies are robust, scalable, and effectively integrated into the digital tool environment.

General Information

• Start: ASAP
• Duration: 1 year, with a possibility of extension or a permanent position
• Workplace: Lucerne (Home office can be arranged with the Hiring Manager)
• Workload: 100%
• Security: Candidates must possess or be eligible to obtain a security clearance.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Project Management (50%)

• Lead and execute project management activities within the scope of specialized engineering products and services.
• Ensure project milestones, budgets, and technical requirements are met within the highly regulated engineering environment.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver complex engineering solutions on schedule.

Process Definition & Management (50%)

• Review, analyze, and suggest improvements to internal project management processes.
• Manage and optimize the process tool environment, ensuring seamless integration with project workflows.
• Implement and champion change management initiatives to enhance organizational efficiency.
• Act as the subject matter expert for project methodologies and internal standards.

Qualifications

• Education: University degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Sector Experience: Proven track record in project management specifically within an aviation or avionics environment.
• Process Expertise: Solid experience in process definition, mapping, and lifecycle management.
• Methodologies & Tools: Proficiency in Agile methodologies and hands‑on experience with Jira for project tracking and process management.
• Security Clearance: Ability to undergo a security background check is mandatory for this role.
• Languages: Fluent German is required; English fluency is highly preferred for communication within the broader engineering landscape.
