Your Responsibilities

• Execution, monitoring and optimization of the material budget including potential risks and opportunities
• Creation and management of the procurement plan with a special focus on the technical requirement documents/release of drawings
• Coordination of the interface between project and procurement organization and representation of procurement in all project-related activities, especially in the start-up phase and in project meetings
• Provision of the relevant project-specific conditions for the responsible buyers
• Driving make-or-buy decisions based on the overall strategy (supplier input for business case)
• Coordination of project-related activities for cost reduction in material
• Management of supplier documentation (requirements and execution)
• Ensuring that all dual/multi-sourcing activities are shared, coordinated and agreed with the project team before awarding the contract
• Facilitating contact with suppliers to support the parts release process
• Ensuring that strategies are implemented and project procurement plans are aligned with global raw material management

Your Qualifications

• Successfully completed university degree in the field of Engineering, Supply Chain or comparable
• Experience or understanding of procurement processes and supplier management in a project environment combined with technical knowledge
• Strong sense of responsibility and willingness to travel
• Ability and willingness to work in an international environment
• Communication skills in German and English
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint, SAP knowledge would be an advantage
