Project Manager / Quantity Surveyor

Are you a seasoned construction professional who thrives on both the commercial and delivery side of projects?

We are looking for a driven and solutions-focused Project Manager / Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of projects from inception to close-out — ensuring cost, quality, and timelines are effectively managed every step of the way.

This role is ideal for someone who can confidently chair a consultant meeting in the morning and interrogate a bill of quantities in the afternoon — and enjoy both.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery, including planning, scheduling, site oversight, and stakeholder management
• Prepare cost estimates, feasibility studies, and bills of quantities across all project stages
• Manage tender processes, evaluate bids, and administer contracts (pre- and post-award)
• Oversee budgets, cash flow forecasts, valuations, variation orders, and final accounts
• Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure delivery within scope, budget, and programme
• Provide commercial and progress reporting to senior management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• 5–8 years’ experience in construction project management and/or cost management
• RICS, SACQSP, or CIOB registration (or eligibility) will be advantageous
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, budgets, and contract administration
• Proficiency in MS Office, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and project planning tools
