The Construction Project Scheduler is responsible for developing clear and realistic schedules for the procurement phase of construction on ICI and Transit projects for an established General Contractor.

Our client is a process-driven established ICI General Contractor that values learning, open communication, quality work, corporate culture, and employee growth.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze contract documents to develop clear, realistic construction schedules during the procurement phase
• Support development of tracking processes and standard operating procedures for the construction phase
• Participate in regular meetings across multiple mixed-use residential projects
• Forecast and report schedule highlights and restrictions to team members
• Communicate reasons for schedule variances and propose solutions
• Provide regular analysis and metrics to key stakeholders weekly
• Participate in implementation of operating procedures to support successful project delivery
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years experience in a similar role on large ICI and Institutional (Healthcare) projects valued $100MM-$200M
• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or similar
• Proficiency with scheduling software, especially MS Project
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and Primavera
• Ability to coordinate multiple schedules and solve schedule conflicts under pressure
• Understanding of complex construction sequences
