What can you expect?
- You assist in developing and updating detailed project schedules
- You support schedule logic development, including task sequencing, durations, and dependencies
- You collect progress updates from offshore and onshore teams, including subcontractors, and update schedules accordingly
- You track key milestones, vessel utilization, weather windows, and interface points
- You identify potential schedule risks, clashes, or delays and escalate to project team
- You prepare schedule reports, look-aheads, and progress summaries for internal and client use
- You maintain accurate scheduling data within project controls systems
- You support coordination with engineering, site operations, logistics, and HSE teams
- You assist the project controls and commercial teams with claims and variations support, including providing schedule data and analysis to support Extension of Time (EOT) and delay claims, maintaining records of schedule changes, baseline updates, and impacts, supporting basic delay analysis under guidance from Planning Manager, and assisting with preparation of supporting documentation for client or subcontractor claims
What should you bring along?
- You must be proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, Microsoft Excel and other office applications
- You have a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, project management, marine operations, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- You demonstrate full fluency in English, including both written and verbal communication
- You possess good communication skills and ability to work in a multi-cultural team, with a strong willingness to learn
- You are located in or near Hamburg, with the ability to commute to the office daily
- You have internship or entry-level experience in offshore, marine, or subsea projects
- You are familiar with project controls concepts (progress measurement, baselining, reporting)
- You are willing to work full-time, office-based, with occasional travel for site visits and stakeholder meetings
- You are legally authorised to work in Germany (valid visa or work permit)
