Responsibilities
- Perform analysis of user requirements, concept of operations (CONOP) documents, and high‑level system architectures to develop system testing requirements.
- Guide project system test development and implementation planning through preparation of project‑specific test and evaluation master plans (TEMPs), test plans and procedures, and requirement verification traceability matrices (RVTMs).
- Display excellent technical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to take a holistic approach to system design.
- Review progress and evaluate results of work accomplished by self and others.
- Prepare reports and present results to management and client.
- Travel as required (some travel may be required).
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in and contribute to Test Engineering departmental meetings.
- Infrequent use of basic hand tools and setup of instrumentation.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or Systems Engineering (or other relevant technical BS degrees).
- 5 to 12 years of practical experience in Systems Engineering, including:
- Contributing to the development of systems engineering documentation such as TEMPs, test plans and procedures, test readiness reviews, and RVTMs.
- Managing system test requirements and derived requirements to ensure delivery of production systems that meet system requirements.
- Leading test events.
- Ability to work in an ISO‑9000 company with a rapidly changing and demanding atmosphere.
- U.S. citizenship required; minimum ability to obtain Secret security clearance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Ability to interpret drawings and schematics for complex electro‑mechanical systems.
- Broad understanding of electrical, mechanical, and software test methods.
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or certification in systems engineering.
- Ability to obtain Top Secret security clearance with CI polygraph.
- Experience with U.S. DoD.
- Working knowledge of systems‑centered software such as Cradle, Cameo, SysML, DOORS, ModelCenter, or equivalent.
- Strong working knowledge of metrology, statistics, design of experiments, and data acquisition and analysis.
Additional Information
- Estimated salary range: $100,000 – $170,000 (based on experience and other measures).

Responsibilities
- The Project Test Engineer will primarily generate test plans and procedures, lead test efforts locally and in the field, support engineering and design test-related activities, and lead small teams of multi-disciplined engineers, technicians, and field engineers
- Professional interaction with customers or clients can be expected on a frequent basis
