Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Juno Beach, FL that is seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager with a strong focus on Data Protection to support our enterprise Cybersecurity organization. This role will lead cross‑functional initiatives that strengthen the company's ability to safeguard sensitive information, ensure regulatory compliance, and implement enterprise‑wide data protection capabilities. The ideal candidate has a strong background in cybersecurity or data governance, excels in coordinating complex initiatives, and can translate technical requirements into clear, actionable plans for stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Execution

  • Lead enterprise data protection programs, including data classification, encryption, data loss prevention (DLP), retention, and secure data lifecycle management
  • Drive planning, execution, and delivery of cybersecurity and data protection projects across multiple business units
  • Maintain detailed program roadmaps, timelines, risk logs, and executive status reporting
  • Coordinate program governance activities, steering committee sessions, and cross‑functional working groups

Stakeholder & Cross‑Functional Management

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Cybersecurity teams, IT, Legal, Compliance, and business units
  • Facilitate alignment on security requirements and ensure consistency across data protection initiatives
  • Communicate progress, risks, and issues to leadership with clarity and urgency

Risk, Compliance & Regulatory Alignment

  • Ensure data protection projects align with internal policies and external requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, PCI, NIST, ISO 27001)
  • Track and manage remediation efforts related to data protection risks, audit findings, or compliance gaps
  • Support the development and maintenance of enterprise data protection policies, standards, and procedures

Requirements

  • 5‑10+ years of Project or Program Management experience in enterprise environments
  • Proven experience leading cybersecurity, data protection, or data governance initiatives
  • Strong understanding of data protection technologies (e.g., DLP, encryption, CASB, tokenization, data discovery tools)
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, SOX, PCI DSS, NIST CSF, ISO 27001)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to executives
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects
  • Highly collaborative, able to influence without authority
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
  • Effective at building trust with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Proactive, detail‑oriented, and comfortable navigating ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, PgMP, CSM, or similar PM certification
  • CISSP, CIPP, CISM, or other cybersecurity/data privacy credentials
  • Experience in cloud environments and data protection across Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Background supporting Cybersecurity, IT Security Engineering, or Data Governance teams
  • Experience with enterprise PMO tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, MS Project, Smartsheet)

Compensation & Benefits

  • The pay range reflects the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably, in good faith, believe we would pay at posting for this role. Actual pay may be higher or lower based on education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract, and business needs. The range may be modified in the future.
  • Comprehensive benefits include medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance for eligible employees.
  • Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
  • Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains at Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
  • This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives, or commissions.
