Als Train Manager (m/w/d) bist Du für die technische Einsatzbereitschaft der Validierungsfahrzeuge verantwortlich. Du sorgst in dieser Schlüsselrolle dafür, dass die Fahrzeuge zur richtigen Zeit und am richtigen Ort zur Verfügung stehen.

What You'll Do

• Responsibility: You ensure the complete operational readiness of the validation vehicles, paying attention to schedule, location, technology, and configuration.
• Coordination: You technically prepare, monitor, and support the trains according to the specifications of the Train Validation Engineer (TVE) or the test laboratory.
• Quality Assurance: You also ensure correct mechanical, electrical, and software configurations according to test requirements.
• Project Planning: In coordination with the team, you support validation planning and coordinate internal and external test sites.
• Field Support: You provide technical support for validation activities, both on-site at the customer's premises and at external test sites.
• Communication: As an interface to adjacent departments (e.g., Train System, Train Design, Train Control), you ensure close cooperation and provide technical support to external service providers and testing laboratories.
• Work Safety: You ensure compliance with all applicable EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) guidelines.

Who You Are

• Qualification: Completed studies or technical training in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field.
• Industry Experience: You have experience in the field of railway vehicles (Railway / Rolling Stock); ideally in a test or validation environment.
• Documentation: You are familiar with technical documentation and configuration management.
• System Understanding: You have knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and software-based vehicle systems.
• Language Skills: You have very good written and spoken German and English skills.
• Soft Skills: You are communicative and organized, work independently and structured, and enrich the team with your hands-on mentality.
• Mobility: You are willing to travel extensively and be flexible, and are prepared to work at our customer's site in the region.
