Role

You will manage complex development projects in the field of optical and technologically complex systems and be responsible for their implementation from idea to series production. You will coordinate interdisciplinary teams and ensure compliance with costs, deadlines, and quality objectives. Your technical expertise and project understanding will significantly contribute to the successful positioning of innovative products on the market.

Responsibilities

• Management of development projects in the area of customer-specific product and process solutions
• Implementation and documentation according to defined project management processes
• Responsibility along the entire process chain from quotation to series transfer
• Management of project goals regarding budget, deadlines, and service provision
• Coordination of an interdisciplinary project team across multiple specialist areas
• Technical support for sales and product management to optimize quotations
• Support and further development of a product portfolio

Qualifications

• Completed studies in Systems Engineering, Photonics, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics
• Several years of industry experience as a project manager or development engineer
• Knowledge in the field of optics or photonic systems is an advantage
• Very good English skills for international communication
• Analytical and structured way of working with strong problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills in dealing with different stakeholders
• Fluent German skills
