In this key role, you will take on

overall responsibility

– from strategic planning and operational control to the successful implementation of the new system in ongoing operations. You will actively shape the change, support the organization in change management, and guide internal and external stakeholders safely through all project phases.

This is one of the most demanding and influential tasks in the company – ideal for personalities who love responsibility, drive change, and confidently manage projects of high complexity.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the entire ERP implementation or migration project from initiation to go-live and post-go-live support.
• Create the project strategy, roadmap, milestones, and resource plan.
• Assemble and lead a cross-functional project team, including selecting the consulting partner.
• Analyze and optimize existing business processes and coordinate system requirements with the specialist departments.
• Create a requirements specification / statement of work and align it with the existing SAP S/4 HANA template within the Voith Group.
• Steer and coordinate all internal and external project participants (specialist departments, IT, ERP service providers, consulting partners).
• Budget responsibility and ongoing controlling of time, costs, and quality.
• Regular project status reports to management and the steering committee.
• Support employees through the change process.
• Ensure acceptance and sustainable use of the new SAP S/4 HANA system.
• Moderate workshops, training sessions, and decision-making rounds.
• Ensure implementation and data migration.

Your Profile

• Completed studies in business informatics, computer science, business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience in managing complex ERP implementation or migration projects.
• Sound understanding of business processes (e.g., production, purchasing, logistics, sales, controlling).
• Experience working with external implementation partners.
• Sound project management skills.
• Strong assertiveness, decision-making competence, and structured approach.
• Convincing communication skills at all levels.
• Ability to engage and motivate employees and to shape changes positively (Change Management).
• High stress resistance, conflict resolution competence, and pragmatic hands-on mentality.
• Analytical thinking and a high sense of responsibility.
