Project Leader (m/f/d) Circular Economy and Environmental Consulting
Your Responsibilities
- Independent establishment of a consulting and service center for craft businesses on innovative construction processes and circular material flows
- Establishment and coordination of a Saarland innovation and competence network for circular construction
- Consulting craft businesses on circular construction, funding opportunities (EU / Federal / State) and environmental topics (e.g., waste separation and disposal, use/storage of hazardous substances, resource efficiency, circular economy) including associated legal requirements
- Development of statements on environmental law legislative procedures of the state government
- Committee work and cooperation with (supra-)regional networks as well as authorities and associations
- Conceptual design, planning, and organization of information events, workshops, excursions, and congresses
- Conception of further training courses on circular construction and economy
Your Profile
- Completed university degree in one of the following fields: Sustainable Construction, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Environmental and Resource Management, Circular Economy, or a comparable qualification
- Technical and subject-specific knowledge in the area of circular construction and circular economy desired
- Ideally, knowledge in the areas of environmental law, circular economy, resource conservation, and climate protection
- Knowledge in the implementation and processing of public funding projects is an advantage
- High competence in communicating complex issues and moderating groups
- Very good written and oral communication skills
- High degree of initiative as well as independent and structured way of working
- Knowledge of French and English desired
- Driver's license class B

- Fixed-term employment for the project duration until December 31, 2027, with the option of extension upon project success
- Flexible working hours model with a 39-hour week

- 30 days of annual leave for a full calendar year (plus additional days off on December 24th & 31st)
- Classification in pay group 9c according to the Collective Agreement for Public Service (TVöD-VKA)
- Additional annual special payment with the option of partial conversion into time off
