For our client, a Swiss telecommunications provider, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager in the field of power supply / energy infrastructure. The focus is on a nationwide infrastructure project to ensure the power autonomy of mobile and wireline sites. We are looking for a technically savvy personality with strong project management skills, ideally with experience in power supply, backup systems, or critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Leading a project for the power autonomy of mobile and wireline sites
• Developing and evaluating technical solution options for backup and energy systems
• Coordinating internal specialist departments, network operators, suppliers, and other stakeholders
• Planning, controlling, and monitoring project milestones, budgets, risks, and dependencies
• Conducting scenario analyses and decision-making bases for technical and economic variants
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal specifications
• Managing the implementation until successful deployment at relevant locations
• Reporting to management, specialist departments, and project committees

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a project manager in technical infrastructure projects
• Very good knowledge in the areas of power supply, energy systems, battery technologies, backup systems, or energy management
• Experience with larger infrastructure projects, ideally in the telecommunications, energy, M&E, or critical infrastructure environment
• Ability to combine technical requirements with economic and regulatory frameworks
• Experience in coordinating multiple stakeholders, e.g., suppliers, authorities, internal specialist departments, or network operators
• Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented approach to work
• Very good communication skills at different hierarchical levels
• Residence in Switzerland is mandatory

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mobile or wireline network infrastructure
• Knowledge of Swiss telecommunications regulation or BAKOM specifications
• Experience with power autonomy or backup power projects
• Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or comparable
• Experience with nationwide rollouts or complex infrastructure programs
