Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for building, scaling, and successfully delivering large‑scale Life‑Science projects (e.g., compliance, change, obsolescence management, medical device development, packaging, etc.)
- Act as the central contact for customers throughout the entire project lifecycle—from initiation to closure, including escalation management
- Lead local project organizations and steer globally distributed teams
- Ensure adherence to time, cost, and quality targets using classic and agile project‑management methods
- Collaborate closely with Sales & Development and Competence Centers on proposal creation, cost calculation, and team staffing
- Continuously develop project‑management standards and implement efficient processes
- Coach and develop future project leaders within the organization
Requirements
- Completed degree in medical technology, engineering, or a comparable field
- Experience in leading and scaling complex large‑scale projects in the Life‑Science environment and/or multi‑project settings for medical technology or pharma
- Knowledge of medical‑technology and pharma requirements; experience with compliance‑management, change management, obsolescence management, packaging, or similar areas
- Solid understanding of project‑management methods (classic & agile) with ideal certifications such as PMI, IPMA, PRINCE2, Scrum
- Experience leading international, distributed teams (onsite/nearshore/offshore)
- Strong customer orientation, negotiation skills, and confident presence at all management levels
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written
