Project Director

About

As an experienced Project Director, you will guide multidisciplinary teams through the implementation of groundbreaking technologies – from synthesis gas production plants to advanced SCR systems. Take responsibility for a budget of CHF 135 million and set new standards in environmental, quality, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Lead the complete and safe execution of the project throughout its 4-5 year lifecycle, ensuring all technical, financial, and environmental goals are met.
• Management of Technological Innovations: Managing the technical risks associated with groundbreaking industrial applications.
• HSSE & Quality: Foster a "Zero Harm" culture. Ensure the project complies with the highest health, safety, and environmental standards, as well as quality assurance/control protocols.
• Multi-Lot Management: Lead the implementation of a complex "Brownfield" project divided into geographical and technical lots to enable parallel execution without production interruption.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary interface between the plant organization, regional and group-wide functions, and external regulatory authorities.
• Risk & Compliance: Steer the "critical path" of project milestones and make technical decisions to avoid delays.

Qualifications

• University degree (Master's or PhD) in Engineering and Project Management certification
• Native or professional proficiency in German and English is mandatory for stakeholder management
