Role Responsibility

In the role of Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful completion of projects. You will plan and lead projects, manage and monitor the project progress while adhering to quality, schedule, and budget requirements to bring them to a successful conclusion. Our projects are our client orders, which you will handle in the best interest of our clients. You will participate in internal decision-making and in the creation of an economically viable offer during the bidding phase:

• Responsibility for managing and monitoring construction projects
• Ensuring the timely and cost-effective implementation of construction projects and monitoring compliance with quality standards and legal requirements in the construction process
• Strategic planning: internal economic feasibility study, specifications for project execution, offer preparation
• Team assembly and leadership of project teams
• Project monitoring (meetings and reporting, progress monitoring)
• Coordination and management of third parties, such as construction companies, project managers, and planning offices, etc., as well as regular coordination with clients
• Risk and opportunity management: identifying, evaluating, and managing opportunities and risks
• Project communication: interface for all parties involved (clients, departments, service providers, stakeholders)

You are technically savvy, have relevant professional experience as a Project Manager, and bring the following:

• Completed studies in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a comparable degree program, or an adequate vocational training
• Relevant professional experience in the realization/construction supervision of construction projects or in project management of construction projects
• Fluent German (min. C1) and good English skills are required
• Proficient in using MS Project
• Certification, e.g., from PMI, is desirable
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Solution-oriented work & proactive and self-motivated work style
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confidence in dealing with clients and project participants
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage stakeholders at various levels
