Your Responsibilities

  • Planning and implementation of transport concepts for truck traffic in local and long-distance transport
  • Management of national and international transport projects (full loads, cross-border traffic)
  • Ensuring a structured and timely project start (Go-Live) in road transport
  • Active support of Go-Live and rollout phases for new customer projects in transport logistics
  • Monitoring of operational transport processes during implementation, including initiating immediate measures for deviations
  • Development of efficient solutions for capacity utilization of truck traffic and route planning
  • Conducting customer consultations (onboarding calls) to clarify logistical, technical, and organizational requirements
  • Creation and management of project plans, timelines, and milestones for transport implementations
  • Close collaboration with dispatch, fleet, and sales
  • Ensuring the availability of all necessary resources (e.g., cargo space, drivers, equipment) at the project start
  • Integration of new transport and distribution processes into existing forwarding structures
  • Performing post-calculations, freight analyses, and KPI reporting (e.g., costs, utilization, service level)
  • Analysis of transport processes and derivation of optimization measures in the sense of Business Excellence
  • Documentation of projects and creation of standardized reports and lessons learned

Your Profile

  • Completed training in freight forwarding, logistics, or transport management
  • Several years of professional experience in the relevant field with a focus on dispatch, transport planning, or management of truck traffic is required
  • Sound knowledge in the planning and execution of road transports
  • Experience in project management, ideally in the logistics industry
  • Proficient use of common transport management systems (TMS) and ERP systems
  • Strong communication skills and experience in coordinating project teams
  • Solution-oriented mindset and high process affinity
  • Very good German language skills, both written and spoken; English skills are an advantage
