The Department 7 Research Management provides service-oriented support to scientists in all matters concerning their third-party funded projects and offers comprehensive assistance. Department 73 | National Funding supports with administrative questions regarding third-party funded projects from national funding bodies in all project phases.

Your Responsibilities

  • Individual and specific advice and support for scientists in applying for and managing third-party funded projects (non-scientific or administrative matters).
  • Clarification of funding law and financial issues with funding bodies, cooperation partners, and within the university.
  • Administrative project management and complete fund management of national funding projects: (e.g., budget planning and project controlling, proof of use).

Your Profile

  • Completed scientific university degree.
  • Practical experience in application advice and project support for third-party funded projects.
  • Practical experience in third-party fund management at a university or with a funding body or project executing agency.
  • Very good knowledge of a university and the academic system.
  • Service orientation, teamwork, and very good communication skills in spoken and written German and English.

The position is to be filled full-time (39.83 hours per week) starting August 1, 2026. It is permanent. Provided that the relevant collective agreement and personal requirements are met, remuneration will be based on pay grade 13 TV-L.
