Property Accountant

A well‑established organisation in the property and real estate sector is seeking a Property Accountant to join its team.

This is a varied role offering exposure to financial reporting, portfolio analysis, and stakeholder engagement across a diverse property portfolio. It suits candidates from property management, real estate, facilities, or service‑charge environments who enjoy working close to operations.

Responsibilities

• Support financial reporting and analysis across property portfolios
• Prepare periodic reports (income, costs, cash flow, variance analysis)
• Monitor rental income, service charges, and property‑related costs
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Act as a finance contact for stakeholders, providing insight and support
• Contribute to process and system improvements

Candidate Profile

• Qualified, Part‑Qualified, or qualified by experience (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• 2+ years’ experience in property, real estate, or facilities finance
• Exposure to service charge, rent, or property reporting advantageous
• Experience with systems like Yardi, MRI, or similar beneficial
• Strong Excel and core accounting knowledge
• Organised, detail‑focused, and a strong communicator
