Property Development Manager - Johannesburg based with travel to North-West

Our client is an Investment company focused on driving sustainable economic and community development initiatives. They are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Property Development Manager to lead and manage property development projects from concept through to completion

Role Overview

The Property Development Manager will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of property development projects — from opportunity identification and feasibility analysis through to financing, construction oversight and final delivery.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal leadership, external partners and investment stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities and Duties

Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage property development projects from feasibility to final delivery • Conduct market research, financial modelling and feasibility analysis • Oversee design, procurement, construction and project timelines • Monitor project budgets, profitability and investment performance • Ensure compliance with regulatory, governance and safety standards • Build and manage relationships with developers, consultants, joint venture partners and stakeholders

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications • Honours degree in Business, Built Environment, Property or related field • Master’s degree in Economic or Property Development (advantageous)

Experience • 6–8 years’ experience in property development • At least 4 years in a management capacity • Demonstrated experience managing developments from concept to completion • Strong financial modelling and feasibility analysis capability
