About Our Client
Our client, a prominent firm in the real estate sector, is seeking a sharp and analytical Property Investment Analyst to join their team in Kaduna, Kaduna, NG. This role is critical for evaluating potential property investments, conducting market research, and providing financial analysis to support strategic acquisitions and developments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of real estate markets, financial modeling, and investment appraisal techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities in the real estate sector.
- Perform detailed financial modeling and valuation of potential properties, including cash flow projections, ROI analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
- Assess the financial feasibility and risks associated with property acquisitions, developments, and dispositions.
- Prepare investment memorandums, reports, and presentations for senior management and investment committees.
- Analyze economic, demographic, and market trends impacting the real estate industry.
- Due diligence on potential properties, including physical inspections, title searches, and environmental assessments.
- Monitor the performance of existing investments and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Liaise with internal teams, external brokers, appraisers, lawyers, and other stakeholders.
- Assist in the negotiation process for property acquisitions and sales.
- Stay abreast of real estate market dynamics, regulatory changes, and emerging investment strategies.
- Develop and maintain databases of market data, comparable properties, and transaction histories.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in real estate investment analysis, property development, financial analysis, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques (e.g., DCF, comparable sales), and investment appraisal.
- Strong understanding of the real estate market, including different property types and investment structures.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a demanding environment.
- Experience with property management software or real estate databases is beneficial.
- Knowledge of the Kaduna real estate market is a significant advantage.
