We are seeking a hands-on Prototype Development Project Manager who will take charge of projects from initial concept to production readiness. This role is tailored for those who have a deep understanding of product construction.

The Role

• Lead the development of intricate products from concept, through prototyping, to full-scale production.
• Transform commercial briefs into feasible and manufacturable solutions.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams on drawings, materials, and construction approaches.
• Oversee prototype builds, testing, and iterative improvements.
• Manage project costs, timelines, and feasibility right from the start.
• Coordinate with suppliers and assist in vendor selection and negotiations.
• Ensure that designs are scalable and prepared for mass production.

What They’re Looking For

• Experience in manufacturing, product development, or fabrication environments.
• Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes (e.g., plastics, metals, wood, fabrication).
• Proven track record of successfully taking products from prototype to full production.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and collaborate effectively with technical teams.
• Commercially minded with the ability to balance cost, quality, and speed.
• Hands-on attitude; this is not just a coordination position.
