Your Role

As a Proxy Product Owner, you will play a key role in high-stakes projects for major clients in various sectors: Energy, Banking/Finance/Insurance, Telecom, Transport, Industry, and many others.

Integrated into a structured Agile ecosystem, you will work closely with a reference Product Owner / Product Manager to ensure the operational continuity of the product and guarantee a fluid and coherent delivery of value.

You will be the preferred point of contact for development teams on a daily basis and will directly contribute to the success of sprints. Your main missions:

• Contribute to the product vision defined by the PO/PM, by consolidating business needs and relaying user feedback.
• Operationally manage the Product Backlog: refinement, sprint preparation, clarification of requirements and proposal of arbitration.
• Write clear, structured, and complete User Stories, defining the associated acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with development teams, designers, QA, and business stakeholders, and actively participate in Agile ceremonies (daily, refinement, sprint planning, review, retrospective).
• Ensure daily liaison between technical teams and the PO/PM, resolving functional ambiguities and facilitating operational decisions.
• Collect, structure, and prioritize user feedback to feed product evolution.
• Contribute to sprint planning and monitoring, anticipating risks and dependencies.
• Organize and manage functional testing and UAT phases, verify compliance with acceptance criteria, and validate proper integration before production.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of processes, methods, product practices, and tools.

What We're Looking For

• Experience as a Proxy Product Owner, Product Owner, Business Analyst, or equivalent, in Agile environments.
• Mastery of Agile practices, ideally Scrum.
• Excellent understanding of software development processes.
• Ability to write relevant User Stories and structure a backlog.
• Comfortable collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Knowledge of SQL databases and ability to execute simple queries (joins, filters...).
• Solid analytical and synthesis skills to translate business needs into operational solutions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in banking/insurance is a plus.

Education

• Master's degree from an engineering school, business school, or university, with a specialization in project management, digital, product, or equivalent.

Certifications

• PSPO, CSPO, or equivalent appreciated.
• SAFE PO/PM or ICP-APO is a plus in scaled contexts.

Conditions

• Position based in Nantes - La Chapelle-sur-Erdre.
• Occasional travel to client sites.
• Remote work possible.
