Position Summary
As a Project Manager, you will be accountable for and managing the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of projects in support of integrated campaigns. Housed within the fast-paced Public Affairs office, the Project Manager will stay abreast of health-related events in the news, conduct basic research, manage talking points, develop materials, track tasks, assist in short and long term planning, collaborate with many entities across the CVS Health enterprise, develop draft communication materials and provide organization support.
Fundamental Components
Assist in the drafting of a broad range of public policy and advocacy communications materials:
- Policy papers and issue briefs
- Slide decks
- Executive summaries and communications
- Talking points and briefing memos
- Internal communications on legislative or public policy developments
Manage existing projects assigned to the role, including:
- Team library of approved advocacy and communications materials
- Colleague grassroots engagement platform and strategy
- Team data dashboard with presence, impact, and other information
Monitor relevant news media to identify emerging industry trends, legislative and regulatory proposals, and other relevant environmental activity
Proactively lead other assigned projects, including:
- Identifying project timelines and milestones
- Scheduling meetings for relevant team members
- Tracking and following up on deliverables
- Identifying areas of opportunity for additional resources or other needs
Oversee short-term and long-term public affairs and state campaign projects.
Report out on project milestones, ongoing activities, and results.
Supporting other Public Affairs projects and colleagues, as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Project Management, Hill, campaign, state government, firm or related experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with public policy/government affairs issues
- Experience in a communications, marketing or government affairs-related role
- Experience working with public policy issues
- Experience working in a complicated environment under deadline
- Experience with Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe
- Proven experience meeting project deadlines
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of working experience may be considered

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$72,360.00 - $159,120.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
