Python Developer

About the Role

Python Developer who will work in the Cloud Security Engineering team. We build detection tools to enrich security findings for Comcast Cybersecurity. You don't need cybersecurity experience (though it is a plus), and this is a Software engineering role. The work we are doing in 2026 is building a new detector and pipeline for Comcast cybersecurity.

Need a Strong engineer.

Responsibilities

• 65% coding
• 10% design, small to medium-sized features
• 25% Devops work

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years’ experience / SW Engineering with some Cloud expertise in AWS primarily.
• Understanding of how Cloud platforms work and operate.
• Experience with PYTHON / Terraform / CI/CD tools and processes / Any experience with FastAPI is a plus.
• Emerging practices for managing AI development tools are a plus.
• Some cybersecurity experience with Authentication and Authorization is helpful.
