We are looking for a strong Python Developer with database expertise to join a banking project. The role focuses on backend development, infrastructure as code, and cloud-based solutions within a regulated financial environment.

The ideal candidate combines hands‑on development skills with solid database knowledge and understands the quality, security, and compliance standards required in enterprise banking systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services using Python.
• Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform.
• Develop and operate cloud‑native solutions on GCP (Google Cloud Platform).
• Work with relational databases (design, optimization, query tuning).
• Implement secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation processes.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with banking security and regulatory standards.
• Support production systems and participate in incident analysis when needed.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience with Python (backend development, APIs, services).
• Hands‑on experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
• Practical experience with GCP.
• Solid understanding of database systems and data modeling.
• Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Understanding of secure coding practices.
• Experience with Git‑based workflows and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice‑to‑Have Skills

• Advanced SQL skills (query optimization, performance tuning).
• Experience with API‑based Customer Search services or similar backend systems.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design principles.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools.
