Python Developer (Gen AI)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer specializing in Gen AI to design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning solutions. In this role, you will leverage the Azure ecosystem to solve complex business challenges, particularly within the Investment Banking and Brokerage domain. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of AI development from conducting NLP on unstructured data to ensuring the scalability of models in production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• AI/ML Development: Develop and implement state-of-the-art machine learning models, with a focus on Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Azure Integration: Utilize Azure Machine Learning and Azure OpenAI Service to streamline data processing, prompt engineering, and model deployment.
• Advanced NLP: Conduct complex Natural Language Processing tasks to extract actionable insights from unstructured financial data and documents.
• High-Quality Codebase: Write clean, efficient, and scalable Python code to support AI-driven projects and data-driven product features.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and best practices.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders and technical teams to translate high-level business requirements into robust technical architectures.
• Production Excellence: Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of models in production, maintaining a focus on continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
• Strategy & Analysis: Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends that inform business strategies and improve automated decision-making processes.

Required Qualifications

• Core Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python and deep experience with Azure Machine Learning and Azure OpenAI Service.
• AI Expertise: Strong foundation in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
• Production Experience: A proven track record of successfully deploying and maintaining ML models in a production environment.
• Data Proficiency: Strong skills in data analysis, statistical methods, and handling large-scale datasets.
• Domain Knowledge: Experience in Investment Banking Operations or Brokerage is highly preferred.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and the communication skills necessary to explain technical AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentorship: Demonstrated ability to lead projects and guide junior team members.
