Python programmer /Data scientist

About the Role

Our staffing partner is looking for a Python programmer / Data Scientist for its Fintech client.

Experience

Experience of 2-3 years. Not looking for senior programmers due to low pay.

Salary

Salary offered $55-65k per year.

Candidate Type

Direct applicants only, no c2c or company candidates due to low margins. The staffing company or client will reach directly to the applicants.

Responsibilities

• Develop clean, efficient Python code for data-driven applications
• Design and maintain ETL pipelines and data workflows
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
• Optimize data storage and retrieval using SQL and NoSQL databases
• Ensure data integrity, validation, and security across systems
• Design, train, and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) for various applications
• Develop advanced NLP solutions for text generation, summarization, and semantic search
• Optimize transformer-based architectures for performance and scalability
• Leverage prompt engineering and model customization to enhance AI outputs
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize AI models in cloud environments

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python and libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib
• Experience with data analytics tools and techniques
• Familiarity with SQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Understanding of data modeling and statistical analysis
• Experience with web frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django)
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
