Quality Engineering (QE) Architect

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Engineering (QE) Architect to join the QE Center of Excellence (CoE). This hands-on, individual contributor role requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be a transformational leader with a strong coding background, capable of driving quality engineering initiatives across multiple portfolios and programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Framework Development: Design and build scalable QE frameworks from the ground up to support automation across programs.
• Tool Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in Qtest and other leading QE tools; assist teams with tool setup and integration with platforms like JIRA.
• Requirement Traceability: Establish and guide best practices for requirement traceability across programs.
• Process Review & Gap Analysis: Conduct reviews of QE processes and tickets; proactively identify and address gaps.
• Metrics Management: Track and manage key QE metrics such as defect rates, test coverage, and program health using relevant applications.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure delivery success and provide strategic updates on industry standards and implementation roadmaps.
• Cross-Portfolio Support: Ensure consistent quality and delivery excellence across multiple portfolios.
• Industry Experience: Apply deep QE experience, preferably with Test Automation (TA) exposure, to support strategy and execution across account teams.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in testing and automation with a solid coding foundation.
• Proven ability to influence and guide teams in adopting modern automation frameworks and tools.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to bridge gaps in testing coverage and quality processes.
• Independent and highly productive from Day 1.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with flexibility to extend time as needed for program success.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise-level QE strategy and execution.
• Exposure to industry-standard QE metrics and reporting tools.
