Senior QA Automation Consultant

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Automation Consultant to join a project in Switzerland. The role focuses on end-to-end test automation, test coordination, and collaboration within Agile teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test cases
• Coordinate and execute end-to-end (E2E) testing
• Work closely with SCRUM teams, business stakeholders, and test participants
• Contribute to test design, test strategy, and test case creation
• Perform GUI and microservices testing
• Ensure high-quality test documentation and defect tracking
• Support cross-functional testing efforts

Requirements

• Several years of hands-on experience with Java and Selenium and/or Playwright
• Strong experience in test automation and test design
• Experience working in Agile / SCRUM environments
• Proven experience in test coordination and execution
• Knowledge of test case identification and creation methods

Experience with:

• End-to-End (E2E) testing
• GUI testing
• Microservices / API testing
• Strong documentation skills using:
• Jira Xray (defect tracking)
• Confluence
• Database knowledge (SQL, PostgreSQL)
• Understanding of web services (JSON, XML, XSD)
• Strong analytical mindset and quality-oriented approach
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Nice to Have

• Strong communication skills across different stakeholder levels
• Experience with test monitoring and reporting
