Job Description:

We are looking for a highly analytical QA Engineer with strong expertise in data validation and SQL-based testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of data-driven applications by designing effective test strategies and executing comprehensive test plans.

This role requires hands-on experience with SQL, defect management, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools, along with the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios.

Key Responsibilities: • Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed test plans, scenarios, and test cases • Perform data validation and ensure data accuracy using SQL queries • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases • Manage defects by logging, tracking, and ensuring timely resolution • Work closely with development and business teams to ensure quality deliverables • Maintain and produce high-quality testing documentation • Ensure system data integrity for daily operations • Participate in CI/CD processes and support release cycles • Collaborate using tools like Jira, TeamCity, and Octopus

Desired Skills & Competencies:

Must-Have Skills: • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Good understanding of Data / Data Analysis • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL • Solid understanding of SQL joins and complex queries • Experience with Jira for defect tracking • Hands-on experience with TeamCity and Octopus • Experience with code repository tools (preferably Bitbucket) • Mandatory experience with any Automation Testing tool • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines

Good-to-Have: • Exposure to Agile methodologies • Experience in data-driven testing environments
