QA Automation Tester with Guidewire

Responsibilities

• Utilizing Selenium or Cucumber for automation testing, with proficiency in any automation tool.

• Handling modules related to Policy or Billing in the Guidewire system.

• Demonstrating familiarity with software version control systems like Git or equivalent.

• Having experience with Continuous Integration/Deployment processes and the ability to set up automation suites in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.

• Being proficient with XML, JSON, HTML, and CSS.

• Using agile development tools for project management and bug tracking, such as TFS, Jira, or Rally.

• Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of Guidewire's products and obtaining professional-level certification in at least one product area.

• Testing RESTful APIs and having competence with API testing tools like Postman and Swagger.

• Familiarity with object-oriented programming languages such as Java and C#.

• Having experience in JavaScript, GitHub, Selenium WebDriver, or TestNG frameworks for at least 3 years.

• Interacting with customers and users, offering guidance, updates, and timely responses.

• Experience in Test Driven/Behavior-driven development frameworks for a minimum of 2 years.

• Familiarity with platform virtualization environments, specifically AWS.
