QA Automation Engineer H/F

Mission Description

Our client in the Banking and Finance sector is looking for a QA Automation Engineer H/F.

As part of a technical transformation program, the company is undertaking a major application migration from Java 7 to Java 21 with a strong focus on user journey reliability. QA is at the heart of this initiative, with a desire to industrialize automated testing and improve the overall quality of deliverables.

Mission Objectives

• Implement and maintain an end-to-end automated testing strategy
• Support the technical migration by securing non-regressions
• Evolve or challenge the existing framework, currently based on Selenium
• Improve test coverage and QA practices, particularly around CI/CD and quality
• Work closely with product and technical teams

Stack and Environment

• Automated tests: Selenium, in place but open to evolution
• Backend: Java, with migration to Java 21
• Agile environment: Scrum, Product Owner, developers

Candidate Profile

• Autonomous and experienced QA Automation
• Concrete experience in E2E automation
• Experience on technical migration projects, ideally in a Java context
• Ability to be proactive regarding tools, strategy, and organization
• Good understanding of business challenges
• Comfortable communicating directly with a Product Owner, with the ability to simplify complex topics and understand product impact
• Product quality-oriented approach, beyond just implementing automated tests
