Quality Assurance Product Release Pharmacist

Introduction

A leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company has opportunity for an experienced quality assurance product release Pharmacist, to manage their battery release of their products into the market.

NOTE: SHIFTWORK position, 2 pm to 10 pm, Monday to Friday.

• To act as the (Deputy) Responsible Pharmacist for the batch release process, but would actually report to the Company Responsible Pharmacist overall, and will act as overall RP in the RP's absence.
• 2 years of QA batch release experience is required.
• ISO experience an advantage.
• BPharm degree required.
• BEE requirement: African or Coloured candidates only

Duties & Responsibilities

Shift work - the 2 pm to 10 pm shift (own reliable transport required).

• Final batch release of products
• Ensure GMP approval of batches and batch manufacturing records
• Record incidents and deviations
• Root cause investigations
• CAPAs - assist with CAPAs and make suggestions
• Annual product reviews
• Batch manufacturing docu

Desired Experience & Qualification

• 2 years of experience as a QA pharmacist, specifically with Batch Release experience.
• B.Pharm degree required.

NOTE: This is an afternoon SHIFTWORK position... 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Package & Remuneration

Salary is negotiable, based on experience.

A salary range of around R65k to R70k ctc p/m, plus a bonus, is envisaged for this position.
