QA Engineer (m/w/d)

About Us

We at Aveyara develop innovative IT solutions for the public sector, placing the highest value on quality and user-friendliness. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a QA Engineer (m/f/d) who tests our software solutions, identifies errors early, and ensures excellent product quality together with our SCRUM teams.

Activities

• Quality Assurance of Web Applications
  • You test our software and ensure that it meets all customer requirements.
• Test Conception & Automation
  • You develop test plans, automated test cases, and test frontend as well as backend components in our tech stack (PHP, Laravel, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Docker).
• Ensure Accessibility
  • You check our applications for WCAG and BITV compliance and ensure that they are accessible to all user groups.
• Test Management & Reporting
  • You document test results, identify sources of errors, and work closely with developers to find solutions.
• Performance and Security Testing
  • You conduct load and security tests and analyze system stability.
• Continuous Testing in the CI/CD Process
  • You optimize and integrate tests into our CI/CD pipeline and support the team in identifying and fixing errors early.
• Collaboration with Product Owners and Developers
  • You ensure that requirements are testable from the outset and contribute to the continuous improvement of our software.

Requirements

• Experience in software testing and quality assurance in the web environment.
• Knowledge in test automation, e.g., with Playwright or Jest.
• Experience with CI/CD testing in DevOps environments.
• Basic knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL) and API testing.
• Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG, BITV) and testing tools.
• Ideally, experience with SCRUM.
• Structured, analytical mindset and a high standard of quality.
• Good German and English skills.
