QA Engineer

About the role
Position: QA Engineer (W‑2 Only – No C2C)
Location: Blue Bell, PA (On‑site)
Contract Length: 6 + months (full‑time)
Rate: Competitive, based on experience
About the Role
We’re looking for a seasoned QA Engineer who believes that great software is built on collaboration—not just on finding bugs. In this hands‑on, on‑site role you’ll partner directly with developers and product stakeholders to drive reliability, improve quality, and ensure every release is robust and ready for production.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Planning & Documentation: Design comprehensive test strategies, create detailed test plans, and maintain clear, reusable documentation.
- Manual & Exploratory Testing: Execute functional, regression, and exploratory tests across web and desktop applications, identifying edge‑case scenarios that automated suites may miss.
- Defect Lifecycle Management: Log, triage, and track defects from discovery through resolution, ensuring clear communication with developers and timely closure.
- Requirements Analysis: Work closely with product owners and developers to clarify requirements, provide early feedback, and help shape testable user stories.
- Collaboration: Participate in daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives; act as a quality advocate across the development team.
- Continuous Improvement: Suggest process enhancements, contribute to test automation road‑maps, and mentor junior QA staff on best practices.
