QA Engineer

About the Role: We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with strong experience in Telecom BSS to join our team at Tecnotree. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on expertise in testing BSS applications, ensuring product quality, and collaborating closely with development and product teams. This role is open strictly to candidates currently based in South Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute functional, regression, and integration testing for BSS applications

• Create, review, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test reports

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements

• Identify, document, and track defects

• Participate in release cycles and ensure high-quality deliverables

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3–6 years of experience as a QA/Test Engineer

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Telecom BSS

• Understanding of CRM, Billing, Charging, Order Management, or related modules

• Experience with test management and defect-tracking tools

• Good analytical skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Nice to Have:

• Automation testing exposure

• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, etc.)
