Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and highly skilled QA Engineer who will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our platform. This role involves merging core automation and manual testing skills with modern, AI‑driven QA practices. You will be the quality champion ready to build robust test frameworks, integrate them into CI/CD, and leverage AI/ML to improve everything we do—from test generation to defect prediction.

Responsibilities

Automation & Core Testing

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, enterprise‑grade automation frameworks for Web, Mobile, and API testing using modern tools.
• Write, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases, scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
• Perform a full spectrum of testing: functional, regression, integration, performance, load, security, and manual exploratory testing for edge cases.

AI & Next‑Gen QA

• Leverage AI/ML tools for test case optimization, automated test data creation, and intelligent defect clustering.
• Apply AI‑based visual testing and anomaly detection to catch issues before they impact users.
• Utilize Natural Language Processing (NLP) models for requirement analysis and the automated generation of acceptance criteria.

CI/CD & DevOps Integration

• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate automated test suites seamlessly into our pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab).
• Configure and monitor quality gates (like code coverage and defect leakage).
• Ensure automated tests run effectively across environments, including containerized execution (Docker/Kubernetes).

Collaboration & Process Excellence

• Work closely with Developers and Product Managers in Agile ceremonies to define clear and effective testing strategies.
• Manage test environments and synthetic test data.
• Track, report, and drive the resolution of defects using tools like JIRA or Azure Boards.

Qualifications

Compensation

Salary Range: CA$75,000 – CA$85,000, depending on experience and technical depth.
