🔍 What You’ll Do

As our QA Engineer (Data Tester), you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of the Harambee Pathwaying Platform. You will:

• Review system requirements and test for functionality, performance, and security

• Build and maintain testing frameworks and methodologies

• Develop and execute test cases using best‑practice design patterns

• Manage test planning, regression testing, test reporting, and documentation

• Collaborate with Data Engineering to create test data

• Evaluate testing tools and run proof‑of‑concepts

• Communicate outcomes clearly to stakeholders

• Report and track defects through resolution

🎓 What You Bring

• Matric / Grade 12

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or related qualification

• ISTQB Foundation Certification

• 3–4 years’ experience as a manual tester

• Strong knowledge of front‑end, integration, and data testing

• SQL skills + understanding of ETL processes

• Experience with BQ, Power BI, Jira, TestRail (advantageous)

• Process mapping and test case generation

• A proactive mindset and alignment with Harambee’s values
