This role sits within a dynamic software engineering function focused on building and enhancing customer-facing digital platforms across web, mobile, and backend services. You will take ownership of testing strategy and execution across features and end-to-end journeys, ensuring that every release meets rigorous quality, security, and performance standards.

Working closely with engineering, product, and security teams, you will help shape a quality-first culture while driving automation, improving test coverage, and supporting continuous delivery practices. The environment is Agile, collaborative, and focused on delivering measurable outcomes in a complex, compliance-driven domain.

What You’ll Do • Define and execute test strategies across features, services, and customer journeys • Develop and maintain test plans, cases, and supporting documentation • Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing • Build and enhance test automation across API, UI, and service layers • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines • Drive non-functional testing including performance and reliability • Support security validation aligned to recognised frameworks • Manage defects through full lifecycle including triage and resolution • Contribute to Agile ceremonies with a strong quality mindset

What You Bring • Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate requirements into test scenarios • Solid understanding of the full software testing lifecycle • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks • Strong API and data validation skills • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git • Knowledge of application security testing principles and frameworks • Clear communication skills with the ability to report on quality and risk • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in software testing or engineering • 4–10+ years’ experience depending on level
