About the role
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with strong Marriott Loyalty/Marriott Bonvoy domain experience for a long-term project with IBM/Marriott. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in testing loyalty applications, rewards systems, member portals, and hospitality-related platforms.
Responsibilities
- Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and UAT testing
- Validate loyalty program workflows including rewards points, redemption, member tiers, and booking functionalities
- Prepare and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios
- Identify, log, track, and retest defects using JIRA or similar tools
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
- Perform API and backend validation testing
- Ensure overall quality of hospitality and loyalty applications
Required Skills
- 5+ years of QA Testing experience
- Strong Marriott Loyalty / Marriott Bonvoy experience
- Expertise in Manual Testing methodologies
- Experience with API Testing tools like Postman
- Strong knowledge of SDLC & STLC
- Experience with JIRA or defect management tools
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Hospitality domain experience is mandatory
Preferred Skills
- Automation testing exposure
- IBM project experience
- Selenium knowledge is a plus
