The Role

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join one of the three eCommerce squads and participate in deploying quality on our new e-commerce platform.

What's the job?

Quality Framework, Best Practices & Collaboration

  • Take over and evolve the existing strategy
  • Participate in establishing a quality culture with the other two Squads
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies with Product Owners to champion the QA vision
  • Ability to communicate in English and French

Test Automation

  • Contribute to defining the scope of testing, complexity, and workload during estimation and planning phases.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize manual and automated test scripts, ensuring adherence to best practices and their integration into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Perform functional, integration, and regression tests to validate system functionality, performance, and stability.
  • Record, track, and prioritize defects, ensuring their resolution within deadlines and with precise documentation.
  • Manage the entire test lifecycle, ensuring complete coverage and maintaining quality standards within the Engineering Squad.
  • Present test results and key learnings to stakeholders

Tools & Integration

  • Utilize Jira / xRay / Cucumber / Playwright / Sauce Labs for test campaign management.
  • Recommend, implement, and/or monitor the implementation of tools (AWS Runners, Gitlab CI, integration with DevOps).

Collaboration & Influence

  • Work closely with the Squad Lead and developers to ensure quality.
  • Be proactive in proposing QA evolutions and innovations.

What You'll Bring

Technical Expertise

  • Solid experience with xRay / Jira / Cucumber for reporting and executing test plans manually and automatically
  • Solid experience with JavaScript / TypeScript for test automation using Playwright and Cucumber frameworks
  • Knowledge of Sauce Labs
  • Knowledge of quality tools (SonarQube, linters)

Quality Vision

  • Excellent understanding of test automation strategies and best practices for web applications.
  • Proven skills in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable test frameworks.
  • Very good knowledge of software quality principles, Agile methodologies, and continuous testing practices.
  • Significant experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including developers, Product Owners, and DevOps engineers.

  • Rigor, autonomy, clear communication with diverse profiles.
