About Our Team

Our Team Mobile App Development is part of the Applications and Services department within Digital Business Processes. Together, we continuously develop and optimize our service app "MOBIL ME'" to always keep our customers' needs in mind and delight them with innovative features. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a QA Engineer/Tester (m/f/d) who tests hands-on, drives automation, and acts as a central interface for quality, acceptance, and stakeholders. For us, quality is not a downstream step but a shared responsibility throughout the entire development process. In this position, you are more than "just" a tester – you are the owner of quality, work operationally in manual and automated tests, and coordinate QA-relevant topics within the team and with internal and external stakeholders. You don't just test tickets and requirements, but consciously adopt the user's perspective and provide feedback on usability, user guidance, and overall impact. In short: QA with responsibility and overview.

Your Responsibilities

• Independent manual testing of our mobile apps (Android & iOS)
• Planning, creation, execution, and maintenance of test cases and test scenarios
• Active setup, maintenance, and further development of automated tests
• Responsibility for procurement, management, and maintenance of our test devices (devices, OS versions, configurations)
• Ensuring meaningful test coverage across device and platform boundaries
• Close collaboration with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders
• Coordination with internal release management
• Technical support, coordination, and assistance with acceptance and release processes
• Analysis, documentation, and tracking of bugs, including reproducibility
• Operational support for releases, quality assurance, and test processes
• Identification of potential improvements and active further development of our QA processes and workflows

Your Qualifications

• Experience in manual software testing, ideally in the mobile environment
• Motivation and interest in building and further advancing automated testing (e.g., Appium or similar)
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
• Sense of responsibility and proactive approach to driving topics forward
• Good technical understanding and quick comprehension
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of collaboration with various stakeholders
• Strong quality awareness and team spirit
• Experience with agile working methods (Scrum) and tools like Jira, Confluence, and X-Ray
• Enjoyment of thinking beyond your own area of responsibility and working cross-functionally
