About the Opportunity
Meenaar Global Consultants LLP is inviting applications from experienced and competent QA/QC Mechanical Engineers for the Bina Refinery Project.
This role focuses on quality assurance, quality control, inspection, and supervision of mechanical equipment and piping works, including static and rotary equipment.
Candidates with prior experience in COG sites / refinery / oil & gas projects will be given strong preference.
The position involves handling QA/QC activities, inspection requirements, and leading quality teams in line with the detailed scope defined by IEPL.
Your Role & Responsibilities
As a QA/QC Mechanical Engineer, you will:
- Supervise and ensure quality of mechanical equipment installation and piping works
- Conduct inspections for static and rotary equipment (pumps, compressors, vessels, etc.)
- Monitor and ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards
- Review and verify material test certificates (MTC), inspection reports, and documentation
- Ensure execution is in line with approved drawings, specifications, and QA/QC procedures
- Lead and manage a team of QA/QC personnel at site
- Conduct witness inspections, testing, and commissioning support activities
- Ensure compliance with welding procedures (WPS/PQR), NDT requirements, and QA standards
- Maintain QA/QC records, reports, and inspection documentation
- Coordinate with client, contractors, and internal teams for inspections and approvals
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and statutory regulations
- Implement corrective actions for any quality deviations
Who We’re Looking For
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory)
- 5–8 years of experience in Oil & Gas / Refinery / Infrastructure projects
- Mandatory experience in COG sites / refinery / industrial projects
- Strong knowledge of static & rotary equipment installation and piping systems
- Hands‑on experience in QA/QC procedures, inspection, and documentation
- Knowledge of welding, NDT, hydrotesting, and inspection standards
- Experience in handling site QA/QC documentation and audits
- Proven ability to lead QA/QC teams at site.
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work in a site‑based project environment
