QE Automation Tester

Job Description

• Design develop and maintain automation test frameworks and scripts for web and/or mobile applications.
• Create and execute automated test cases for functional regression integration and smoke testing.
• Collaborate with developers product owners and business analysts to understand requirements and acceptance criteria. Identify, log, and track defects; work with development teams through resolution and verification. Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform API automation testing using REST/SOAP services.
• Execute SQL queries to validate backend data. Analyze test results, identify gaps, and continuously improve test coverage.
• Mentor junior automation engineers and promote QE best practices.
• Ensure testing activities align with overall quality engineering strategy.
