About the role

Role Overview

We are seeking a QPTM IT Data Conversion Analyst to work within a team and support implementation and migration of data to the Quorum Pipeline Transportation Management (QPTM) application. The role will be part of the technical team and support end-to-end data conversion process required for implementation and migration, including integrations from other systems (e.g. GMAS, CIS) and with downstream billing systems (e.g. CC&B).

The resource will work closely with IT, business teams, integration teams, and the Quorum vendor to define transformation logic, establish validation metrics, and reconcile data objects across the conversion runs ensure system stability, data accuracy, and successful billing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Integration & Data Management

  • Responsible for converting legacy system data into Quorum QPTM data load template.
  • Partner with business leads, IT, and vendors to confirm conversion assumptions, scope, support and execute on data conversions.
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment on data ownership and decisions that impact conversion outcomes.
  • Convert source extracts into vendor master data templates, ensuring sign offs, required formats, reference data, hierarchies, and key relationships are satisfied and validation controls are passed.
  • Support data conversion and QPTM integrations to and from other systems (e.g. inbound and outbound interfaces from GMAS and CC&B).
  • Investigate and resolve data load failures, missing data, timing issues, and integration errors.
  • Coordinate with internal integration teams and external vendors to resolve data and interface issues.

Application Support

  • Provide expert data and technical support for the QPTM application across SIT, UAT, and Production environments.
  • Support industrial and out‑of‑balance (OOB) billing processes, including investigation of data discrepancies and billing impacts from upstream and downstream systems.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and reporting support in support of billing cycles.

Incident & Issue Management

  • Triage and resolve incidents related to:
    • Billing, reconciliation, and reads issues
    • Data loads and batch processing
    • Reporting discrepancies
    • User access and authentication
  • Escalate issues to the Quorum vendor or internal IT teams as required.
  • Provide clear status updates and root cause summaries.

Testing & Release Support

  • Support SIT, UAT, mock, cutover, and hypercare activities for QPTM deployment, enhancements, and releases.
  • Execute test cases, validate fixes, and support defect resolution.
  • Participate in Transition to Operations (TTO) activities.

Access & Environment Support

  • Support user access requests and environment coordination in line with standard IT processes.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in data conversion/migration, data analysis, ETL support, or related roles in system implementation programs.
  • Experience building and maintaining mapping and transformation documentation.
  • Working knowledge of SDLC/testing concepts (defect management, test cycles, UAT support).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data integrity.
  • Hands‑on experience supporting data conversion for Quorum QPTM or Quorum midstream/pipeline applications.
  • Strong understanding of pipeline transportation, imbalance processing, and industrial gas billing.
  • Experience with:
    • Application support and incident management
    • Data validation and reconciliation
    • Batch jobs and system integrations
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business users, IT teams, and external vendors; high level of proficiency facilitating reviews and sign-offs.

Preferred / Nice to Have

  • Experience in utilities, oil & gas, or energy sector systems.
  • Experience supporting SaaS applications in a production IT environment.
  • Experience supporting billing systems (e.g., CC&B).
  • Experience with month‑end or billing cycle support.
