Qualified Fitter & Turner / Conventional Turner

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter & Turner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in conventional machining and be proficient in all aspects of fitting and turning.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain conventional lathes and other machining equipment.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Fabricate, assemble, and repair mechanical components.
• Perform precision machining to tight tolerances.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of work performed.
• Adhere to safety regulations and procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Fitter & Turner or Conventional Turner.
• Proficiency in operating conventional lathes, milling machines, and grinding machines.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of metal properties and machining techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
