A well-established motor dealership based in George is seeking to appoint a qualified and experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out vehicle servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance while ensuring high workmanship standards and customer satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conducting vehicle servicing and repairs
• Performing diagnostics and fault-finding on vehicles
• Carrying out routine maintenance and inspections
• Ensuring all work is completed according to manufacturer standards
• Testing vehicles after repairs and maintenance
• Completing job cards and workshop documentation accurately
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Identifying additional repair and maintenance requirements
• Assisting workshop management where required
• Delivering quality workmanship and customer service

Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician with a completed Trade Test
• Previous experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician within a motor dealership is essential
• Valid driver’s licence
• No criminal record
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities
