Toyota Master Diagnostic Technician

SUMMARY:

Remuneration: R30 000 – R33 000 dependent on experience + Incentive + Medical aid + Pension

Purpose Of The Job:

Our client, a reputable automotive dealership, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Toyota Master Diagnostic Technician to join their technical team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for advanced diagnostics, fault finding, and repair of vehicles in line with Toyota and OEM standards, ensuring the highest level of workmanship and efficiency within the workshop.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced diagnostics and fault finding on Toyota vehicles
• Accurately identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues
• Carry out complex repairs and technical work to manufacturer standards
• Support and mentor junior technicians within the workshop
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently and within allocated time frames
• Maintain accurate job records and diagnostic reports
• Liaise with Service Advisors and management on technical matters
• Ensure compliance with Toyota technical standards and procedures
• Keep up to date with the latest diagnostic tools and technologies

Requirements:

• Qualified Toyota Master Diagnostic Technician (Essential)
• Proven experience in a Toyota dealership environment
• Toyota experience Essential
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills (mechanical & electrical)
• In-depth knowledge of Toyota systems and procedures
• Experience working with advanced diagnostic equipment
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Valid driver’s licence
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Willing to relocate
